Dr. Tamara Brider is an organic chemist who joined the BLAVATNIK CENTER for Drug Discovery after conducting positions in Institute for Personalized and Translational Medicine at Ariel University. Dr. Brider finalized her Ph.D. in 2015 under the guidance of Prof. Gary Gelerman in the Medicinal Chemistry program at the Ariel University. The main subject of the research was the development of synthetic methods for the preparation of new compounds with antitumor activity and performing the primary biological test in order to identify potential drug candidates.
In 2015 Dr Brider joined Prof. Yosef Raichlin research project on the kidney stones formation process.
In 2018 she has completed her postdoctoral research, working in the laboratory of Prof. Izhak Michaelevski on the Influence of TH waves on living organisms project.
In the course of her academic career, Dr. Brider gained extensive experience in practical and theoretical organic chemistry, analytical chemistry, and molecular biology.
