About the BCDD
The BLAVATNIK CENTER for Drug Discovery (BCDD) accelerates the translation of scientific discoveries into therapeutic opportunities.
BCDD provides an integrated environment for target discovery, screening, validation, and early proof of concept through close collaboration with academic researchers.
Located on the TAU campus, the BCDD operates as a multidisciplinary hub, enabling academic projects to advance toward a critical inflection point in the drug discovery pipeline, such as hit identification, lead generation, or early proof of concept.
The BCDD offers advanced infrastructure and expert support in, among others, the following areas:
- Computer-aided drug design and cheminformatics
- Development of biological assays
- Assay optimization and adaptation to high-throughput screening (HTS)
- Compound screening and data analysis
Projects are supported through close, in-house collaboration between the proposing researchers and BCDD scientific staff, leveraging both BCDD platforms and the unique biological expertise of the academic groups.
