Drug Discovery Workshop - October 28-31, 2019, Weizmann Institute of Science, in the G-INCPM building
The unique training school is organized in collaboration between the BLAVATNIK CENTER for Drug Discovery and the G-INCPM and will take place at the Weizmann Institute of Science, in the G-INCPM building, on October 28-31, 2019.
The training will cover various high throughput screening technologies, biochemical and cell-based assay development, including data analysis.
Dr. Sheraz Gul, Head of Drug Discovery at the Fraunhofer Institute for Molecular Biology and Applied Ecology, will guide the workshop and lab sessions. Dr. Gul has 23 years’ experience in both academia (University of London) and industry (GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals).
Since this is a hands-on workshop, there are a limited available number of participants for the lab sessions. The applicants will be chosen based on their research area and the added value they can gain from the workshop.
