The Minister of Education Peretz Visited the BCDD
The center researchers presented unique approaches used for finding novel therapeutics for rare and degenerative brain diseases
The Minister of Education, Rabbi Rafi Peretz, visited earlier this week, as the academic school year opens, at the Tel Aviv University. As part of the campus tour, the minister and his delegation visited the BLAVATNIK CENTER for Drug Discovery (BCDD).
During the visit, they met Prof. Ehud Gazit, the academic head of the BCDD, Dr. Lihi Abramovich, a researcher from the school of Dentistry who collaborates with the center and two outstanding students, also working with the center - Mr. Shon Levkovich and Mrs. Hanaa Adsi.

The minister was accompanied by Prof. Ariel Porat, Tel Aviv University President, and Prof. Yaffa Zilbershats, the Chairman of the Planning and Budgeting Committee of the Israel Council for Higher Education in Israel.
During the visit, Prof. Gazit presented the minister and his delegation the BCDD research capabilities and unique approaches used for finding novel therapeutics for rare and degenerative brain diseases.
