More than 200 scientists from industry and academia attended the 16th Annual Meeting of The Medicinal Chemistry Section - Israel Chemical Society at the Weizmann Institute of Science. The BCDD was part of the meeting organizing committee and sponsors.
The meeting attendees heard fascinating lectures from Israeli and foreign leading scientists in various areas of drug discovery such as structural biology, computer-aided drug design, molecular imaging, and others.
The BCDD awarded for the second year prizes for two best posters. The winners in best poster awards were Yaron Ben Shoshan-Galeczki from the lab of Prof. Masha Y. Niv at the Faculty of Agriculture, Food and Environment, HUJI, and Moshe N. Goldmeier from the lab of Prof. Timor Bassov at the Technion.
